Produced after moving from Brussels to Flanders, the album was initially inspired by a recurring dream: "If someone hears the music I make, they will die. Recorded in Wilzie's home studio, with strings added at the former Hungarian National Radio Station (Magyar Radio) in Budapest. The sound is hypnotic and cinematic, as if to uniquely evoke and at the same time avoid the fascination of oblivion between beauty and doom that is forever unresolved. Mixed by Robert Hampson of British drone rock icons Loop.
