Although they disbanded in 1985, they reunited in 2011 following a brief reunion in the mid-2000s. While significantly shifting their musical style toward alternative rock, In 2017, they released their first full-length album since the reunion, *SOGOOD*. Now, their 1980 debut album *ARDEUR*, originally released on their independent label Musique Post Atomique, is being reissued in 2026 by the French label Soleil Zeuhl as a limited-edition 2-LP set featuring a bonus disc!

The LP features the original 1980 album, while the 12-inch bonus disc includes the 1979 singles "Le Chant De La Terre" and "If"—previously unreleased on the original album—as well as the previously unreleased tracks "Une Marche Etrange," "RIP-M," and "La Nuit Secrete," recorded in the early 1980s and making their official debut here. The mastering uses newly remastered audio from 2025. With electric piano-driven repetitive riffs reminiscent of a faster-paced "Mekanik" or "Kohntarkosz," a pulsating bass line that emphasizes the low end, and hysterical, operatic female scat vocals that heighten a sense of urgency, the influence of MAGMA is certainly evident throughout. However, the work also reflects the early 1980s era, resulting in a sound that is—for better or worse—light on synths and keyboard sounds—which, for better or worse, reflect the early ’80s era—and tight, linear drumming centered on rock beats. The finished product gives the impression that the emphasis was placed on the overall sense of exhilaration rather than the weight of each individual note. The floating, ethereal quality achieved by reducing the number of notes—particularly noticeable in the latter half of the album—is another distinctive feature, making this a representative album of 1980s French progressive rock!

Tracklisting:

1.
