Ella visited Berlin successively in 1961 and 1962, and the only unidentified sound source was this 1962 album. The completion of the Berlin trilogy has been a dream of jazz fans for many years, and this release finally realizes it.The year 1962, when this album was recorded, was the peak of Ella's career, and this live performance took place during the most extensive European tour of her career up to that point.
