Bekhterev's interpretations are based on authentic and deep reading of the score, and with great sympathy, he brilliantly distinguishes the subtle characters and scenes of each prelude, vividly expressing Scriabin's unique romanticism. ＜Boris Bekhterev, piano, was educated at the Gnesin Conservatory in Moscow, where he was awarded a medal of merit upon graduation. After winning the first prize at the Soviet Pianist Competition in 1970, he began his concert career as a soloist and partner of violinist Vladimir Spivakov. She has received rave reviews in the former Soviet Union, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, La Scala in Milan, Carnegie Hall in New York, and prominent concert halls in Japan and other countries. The repertoire ranges from Baroque works by Bach and Scarlatti through Classical, Romantic, and French Impressionism to Modern and Contemporary, but the majority of the works are by composers from his native Russia. From 1987 to 1996, he lived in Italy, where he collaborated with violinists Boris Belkin and Ute Ugi and flutist Maxence Larrieu. He also performed with violinist Felice Cusano and cellist Susan Moses as a member of \"Trio Cesar Franck\" in concerts in Italy and the United States.
