Especially in the New World, the guitar developed as a national instrument, and many composers created a wide variety of works for this instrument.\n\nThe Orlandini \u0026amp; Luco Duo was formed in 2021 and is based in Chile, but has also performed in Europe, with success in Spain and Germany. Orlandini has won many awards, including first prize at the 1989 Munich International Music Competition, and is currently a leading figure teaching at the University of Chile and the Catholic University of Chile. Luco studied with Orlandini and won numerous competitions.
