The 2nd Edition is an affordable standard edition from Eternal Grooves with 8 pages of liner notes in Japanese and 7,900 characters. February 11, 1963, a fateful day that changed the course of rock history. On this day, the Beatles greeted the recording of their first album, Please Please Me, at EMI Abbey Road Studios. Starting at 10:00 a.m., three three-hour sessions would go on until nearly 11:00 p.m. at night. We finished recording this album in just one day. A day that should forever be remembered as one of the most fruitful in the history of music. A total of 38 takes, or about 60 minutes, have been unearthed from the session recordings. Here is a look at the Beatles' live schedule around February 11: 1963\/2\/5 Doncaster\/South Yorkshire1963\/2\/6 Bedford\/Suburban London1963\/2\/7 Wakefield\/West Yorkshire1963\/2\/8 Carlisle\/ Near Scottish border1963\/2\/9 Sunderland\/Tyne \u0026amp; Weir (on the North Sea)1963\/2\/10 Moving day1963\/2\/11 Recording at EMI Studios1963\/2\/12 - Starts UK tour from Oldham (northwest England), playing shows almost every day until 4\/27. By this date, the Beatles had recorded \"Love Me Do,\" \"PS I Love You,\" \"Please Please Me,\" and \"Ask Me Why,\" for two singles, four songs in total, but the recording for the album that finally arrived was a new experience for them. The recording session, which began in the morning in the midst of a mid-winter tour of the U.K., began somewhat nervously, and each awkward phrase was transformed into a dashing performance as the takes went on and the soul of rock and roll played out. Producer George Martin later remarked, \"What the hell is going on with these guys? Producer George Martin later remarked, \"What the hell is going on with these guys? We're recording all day long, and the more we do it, the better it gets.\" You can hear this in the best master-quality sound quality, which is a direct stereo mix from the master, which was recorded in two channels at the time. The Beatles' interludes between takes are also uncensored. You will feel like George Martin in front of the player. As you all know, the Beatles made great strides after that. However, the starting point is undoubtedly this album and the recording of this day. The foundation of the Beatles as a band, which they have repeatedly built up through their live performances, is what makes this album possible. During the session on this day, the performance stopped at the slightest mistake by anyone who might have missed it, and the anxiety was contagious, leading to repeated NGs. Then, when the first note of Paul's vigorous count resonated with a pleasant feeling, the elation was contagious, and the best take was born. We are able to witness each of these moments through the sound image. This is an in-depth document of a historic recording session!
