Henri's friend Gilbert devises a scheme to convince Lucie that Edgard has betrayed her, and she agrees to marry Artur. When Edgar interrupts Lucie and Arthur's wedding feast and taunts Lucie for her unfaithfulness, ...... Donizetti adapted his masterpiece tragedy \"Lucia di Lammermoor\" (premiered in Naples in 1835) for French audiences as \"Lusi di Lammermoor\" (premiered in Paris in 1839) from a French libretto. In this adaptation, the composer did not simply replace the Italian libretto with a French one, but also substituted some of the characters and made some changes to the libretto and music. The premiere in Paris was well received, and it is known that Berlioz, who was critical of the original \"Lucia di Lammermoor,\" appreciated this adaptation.Caterina Sala, a rising star soprano who sang the critically acclaimed role of Adina in \"La Pieta di amore\" at the Donizetti Festival in 2021, takes on the role of the title role. Her stable technique and rich, beautiful voice, not unlike that of a newcomer, will be overwhelming in the role of Adina in \"Madness,\" and will leave the audience shaken and in awe. Pierre Dumousseau, a brilliant French singer who made his Italian debut at the Donizetti Festival, led the Orchestra Ri-Originari, founded to perform 19th century operas on period instruments, and the Academy Choir of La Scala in Milan, in a bizarre and dark production by Jacopo Spirei. The dark stage direction, combined with the drama and music of the French adaptation of \"Lusi di Lammermoor,\" is rich in shades and shadows.\n\n\n\n(Naxos Japan)\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Dynamic (Classical \/ Italy)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50299714371873,"sku":"4589538814731","price":37.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4589538814731.jpg?v=1726343601","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-ec\/products\/4589538814731","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
