This is Rock' n' Roll! Veteran Swedish singer Ginny Zann, known for her work with EASY ACTION, SHOTGUN MESSIAH, and ZAN CLAN, has completed a new album with her own band. The album has sold over 490,000 copies (in the U.S. only). The guitarist Stefan and bassist Hogg, both former members of SKINTRADE, have joined Ginny's new band. They have constructed a simple but cohesive sound as a band. The first song is a cool rock tune that draws you into the album! The album is a soundtrack of Ginny's own life, with the essence of AEROSMITH, KISS, SEX PISTOLS, and THIN LIZYYY, which she says are her influences, digested and portrayed by herself.It also includes a cover of DEPECHE MODE's "It's No Good" (originally from "Ultra" [1997], released as the second single and a big hit). (The original is from "Ultra" [1997], the second single released and a big hit.) "I loved the feeling of 'It's No Good,' so I added ZZ Top's spice to it. I had a gut feeling that with a distinctive beat, cool guitars, and my talent, it would be a good addition. I think I was able to instill a sense of freshness. Stefan and I like to do unexpected things."
