Looking back, I think 'FELT MOUNTAIN' represents a special time in my life. It was the first album Will and I released as GOLDFRAPP, it was the album that took us in a new musical direction, and for me, it was also the discovery of a creative direction that I found truly exciting after 13 or so years of music.Being nominated for the Mercury Prize was unexpected and wonderful, and it gave us confidence that we were on a very important musical adventure," Allison recalls of the album.
