It may be said to represent the contemporary intermingling of different cultures. The pieces are difficult, requiring highly complex and technical ensembles, but the performances are flawless. The performance is perfect, with shimmering special effects, noisy long tones, and sudden singing. In (4), the piano and percussion are played simultaneously to imitate the sound of bells.
