Madoka Fukami was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. He holds a conservatoire diploma from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. He was also artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth University of Music in Belgium for three years at the recommendation of Abdel Rahman El-Basha.In 2015, he won the fifth prize in the piano category at the Ron Thibault Crespin International Competition and was awarded the prize for best Ravel work performance. He was also a finalist in the 2017 Busoni International Competition, where he won the prize for Best Contemporary Music Work Performed.He specializes in a wide range of period repertoire and is highly acclaimed in Europe, especially in France. She has also received praise for her abilities from pianist Maria Joao Pires, and the performance she gave with her in front of the President of Portugal, Sousa, was a great success.
