Wagner studied with Dominique Merlet at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris and continued her studies with Fleischer, Bashkirov, Peraia, Fu Tsung, and Weissenberg. He is known for his sensitive and thoughtful playing, and his versatile tone quality. His performance repertoire ranges from fortepiano projects to contemporary music. In 2008, Wagner performed Lotto and Du Bois's Piano Concerto No. 2 on fortepiano, and this was the beginning of his interest in fortepiano. Here, too, he plays both piano and fortepiano with aplomb, shedding light on the work from a variety of angles.Clementi, who is familiar to piano students, still deserves recognition for his unfortunate life \"between Mozart and Beethoven\". op.50-3 is Clementi's last sonata, a masterpiece that more than conveys his talent as a melody maker. You will hear Wagner's convincing performance of this masterpiece, which more than adequately conveys Clementi's talent as a melody maker.
