Mandoz's recorder is not only technically perfect, but also has a bright, warm tone and a friendly singing style that is very appealing, which can be fully appreciated in Handel's music. Bach's works are originally for transverse flute, but Mandoz's recorder brings out the familiarity of the music, which is interesting.
