Prior to the band's formation, it began as a solo home recording project by guitarist Ben Harris, sporadically recording and releasing ambient and noise-based works around 2008. However, with the release show of the 2018 EP \"XrmXfrme,\" the group began to split into a solo-only part and a full band section, at which point Oli Cocup on drums and Ben Holyoake on bass joined the group, marking a divergence as a group. With the addition of a well-established and intense rhythm section, the songwriting process took on a different approach. Polyrhythms and breakdowns collide, blending intense riffs with sweet and graceful soundscapes, creating songs with a high level of drive and urgency.In 2020, vocalist Steve Roberts joined the band, and the band officially became a four-piece, transforming itself from a solo project into a more intense and diverse ensemble. 2023 saw the recording of this album with a new rhythm section, with Corey Carruthers Bell on bass and John Stewart on drums.
