His debut album "RAPHAEL GIMENES & AS MONTANHAS DE SOM" ('18), which showcased the unknown psychedelic folk-like world left in Brazil in the 80s, attracted music fans across genres. Recife, Brazilian singer/songwriter/composer/arranger Hafael Giménez, who has also visited Japan, released his work in 2022 on vinyl! (We have missed it...) This work was inspired by the Norwegian mountains where Jiménez goes trekking every year, with English lyrics reflecting the influence of the US, where he lived as a boy, and a magnificent ensemble reminiscent of progressive rock bands like Yes and PFM, which are Jiménez's favorites. The ensemble is characterized by a subtle, low, vintage sound reminiscent of progressive rock bands such as Yes and PFM, which are Jiménez's favorites. Matias Arias from Argentina is also said to be participating. This album maintains the world view presented in the debut album, and seems to have been scaled up even further.
