(Volume 10), of which Book IV. is a collection of works for two pianos or four hands. Although many of the pieces are simple, Kurtag's compositions are adventurous and avant-garde, and he also uses special techniques such as the palm and elbow to stimulate the spontaneity and creativity of children learning to play the piano, The content stimulates the spontaneity and creativity of children learning to play the piano.
