An album of original songs by Peru's Tribilin Sound, known as one of the founders of digital cumbia, and remixes by an elite group of musicians from various countries is now available! The title "Jalea" is a familiar term used by the seafood-loving Peruvian people to refer to one of the country's most iconic dishes. This album features a menu of four career-defining originals on the A-side and four remixes by leading Mexican, Argentinian, and Peruvian producers on the B-side. Augustus Pablo teams up with DJ Shadow for "Condorcanqui," which sounds as if it were the soundtrack to a heist movie; "Virgenes del Sol," a dub cumbia with bright, sparkling guitar riffs; "El Carmen," and more. This is an important item for digital cumbia - tropical bass!
