The appearance of this complete recording of the \"Six Cello Sonatas\" has given the public an opportunity to discover an even more complete and fascinating personality, both as a composer and as a virtuoso cellist. His style is rooted in the classical musical tradition, but has a particular style that anticipates the sublime adventures of German Romantic music. Claudio Longo was appointed solo cellist of the Klemencic Consort (Clemencic Consort) in 1980 and has also played with Ensemble 415 and Esperion XX.
