This is the only work released in 1970 by RICHARD ATKINS and RICHARD MANNING, a psychedelic folk-rock-pop duo. Signed to Mercury Records, they recorded with members of the Wrecking Crew, a Los Angeles session group known for their work with the Beach Boys, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, and many others. The album is full of dreamy folk-pop songs based on gentle harmonies, and is backed by DRAKELEVIN (PAUL REVERE & THE RAIDERS), LARRY KNECHTEL (BREAD), MARK TULIN (THEELECTRIC PRUNES), RUSTY YOUNG ), RUSTY YOUNG (POCO), and many other West Coast musicians. All of this suddenly falls apart when stage fright leads to a huge flop at a small Hollywood nightclub.Atkins gave up music in his prime, refusing to even listen to the radio for 50 years... However, this album is sure to appeal to all fans of quality early 70s US pop rock!

Tracklisting:

.Generation '70
.My Love Bathes in Silence
.1:25 A.M.
.Your Love Like Heaven Be
.God Give Me Strength
.What Makes Me Love You Like I Do?
.If I Knew You Were the One
.The Finest Poet
.More or Less Nothing
.If I Were Strong I'd Move You Mountains
.She Catches Me Running
