It is a masterpiece. Jan Václav Wojciech (1791-1825) was a contemporary of Beethoven and studied piano with Hummel.He was friends with Schubert, as well as with Beethoven. His most famous work is the masterpiece Symphony in D major, Op. 23, and he is also known for composing the first piano piece entitled \"Improvisation.
