Furthering the editorial approach established on the previous album, \"MILLIONS NOW LIVING WILL NEVER DIE,\" the band introduced non-linear digital recording\/editing. New timbres such as strings and wind instruments are also actively incorporated to create a multi-layered and fluid soundscape spanning 65 minutes.\n\nThe suite from \"IN SARAH, MENCKEN, CHRIST, AND BEETHOVEN THERE WERE WOMEN AND MEN\" to \"JETTY\" explores electronics and computer music.
