This album is the result of her deep understanding of Chopin. For many years she had been searching for an instrument to play Chopin's music, and based on Chopin's words in 1831 that \"the Pleyel piano is the best,\" she decided to record this piece on a Pleyel instrument from Christoph Kern's instrument collection, which was manufactured in Paris around 1848 and restored based on historical documents. The instrument was owned by Chopin and was restored based on historical documents. The instrument is identical in construction to the one owned by Chopin, and has a powerful sound and French elegance that allows the orchestra to balance its volume while accommodating the orchestra's modern pitch (440 Hz).
