The masterpiece No. 17 is a relatively large work of 45 minutes, filled with anxiety, frustration, heaviness, and a big climax, all of which are typical of Miaszkowski. On the other hand, the 25-minute-long No. 20 is full of brightness and nostalgia, and allows us to hear a different side of Miaszkowski. Rudin, who has long been obsessed with MIYASKOVSKY, brings out the inner life of the work with a performance that is both delicate and powerful, and questions the true value of a work that is said to be unfairly unknown in comparison to its high level of perfection.
