The concerto by Kerhuizen, who became Mrs. Olwynn, is beautifully contrasted between the lively first and third movements and the contemplative second movement. Williamson, who was born in Sydney and moved to London, wrote this piece in eight days, yet it is exquisite and full of varied ideas.
