This is her fifth album, and it is a super-ambitious work that will create a new style in the Jazz world with its 11 songs, including 2 new original songs. It has been six years since Satsuki Iida, a talented jazz singer who has won numerous awards, released her last album \"Old Fashioned\" with three pipes. She has gained a lot of experience and increased her presence as a rare authentic singer who can sing standards directly. For her new album \"FIVE,\" her fifth, she has created a new Jazz space with three strings (violin, viola, and cello) and a piano trio (aka HAGURUMA) of her favorite friends who know her well. Satsuki Iida idolizes Carmen McRae, but in recent years she has been described as \"reminiscent of Saraborn,\" and on this album she celebrates Saraborn's signature song \"A Lover's Concert\" with a beautiful arrangement by Shuhei Hosaka.Most of the strings arrangements were done by Shuhei Hosaka on piano. Two original compositions written by Satsuki Iida are also worth listening to. No, No Lie!\" written by Satsuki Iida has a melody and interesting tune that once you hear it, you will not be able to get it out of your ears. The other song is \"In the World,\" composed and arranged by bassist Yuta Komino with lyrics by Satsuki Iida. It was a wonderful piece with a floating feeling of soaring into the sky, like a vocalese style. Drummer Gaku Hasegawa also arranged \"The Old Black Magic\" aggressively. All members of the trio participated in the arrangement of this ambitious work. Also of special note is \"Send in the Clowns\". The late Mr. Masahisa Segawa requested Satsuki Iida to sing this song, and she sings it with a deep expression, putting her heart into it, with piano and strings in the background.On the Sunny Side of the Street,\" a song born in the U.S. during the Great Depression, is similar to the stagnant situation in Japan after the Corona disaster, but Satsuki Iida dares to speak austerely with rich bass notes in a slow ballad of this famous song, which was used in the NHK morning drama, \"On the Bright Front Street The last song on the album is \"Hibari Misora. The last song on the album is Misora Hibari's \"Kawa no Nagare ni yoniwa. The spirit of taking a song as a Jazz song and her singing really shines here.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"T-TOC RECORDS","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45376670957857,"sku":"4582561411359","price":163.0,"currency_code":"DKK","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/products\/4582561411359.jpg?v=1686442252","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-dk\/products\/4582561411359","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
