Drawing inspiration from Blue Cheer and Black Sabbath, the global student movements of 1968, the 1971 Halconazo incident (the violent suppression of student protests in Mexico City that resulted in numerous deaths), and the \"Avandalo\" festival—often called the Mexican version of Woodstock—they established their popularity by pursuing a unique brand of socially conscious Spanish-language rock imbued with poetic power. They are respected by the new generation of musicians as pioneers of heavy metal and early stoner rock in Mexico. This album is the band’s first full-length compilation, combining their early singles with rare session recordings from the 1980s and 1990s that were miraculously preserved in Victor Moreno’s possession. It is packed with their original sound—raw and heavy, yet imbued with a sense of nostalgia.
