Roland Garnier is a living witness of the French club scene, having started his career at the legendary Hacienda club in Manchester, and is a master of the techno world, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jeff Mills and Derrick May. Garnier was deeply impressed by Riminianas' stage performance he saw at a festival he presided over in 2017, and offered to collaborate with him. The two spent four years working on the project and completed \"De Pelicula\".The cinematic mood is like a fusion of the worlds of \"Willy Wonka\" and \"Wild at Heart,\" and is infused with post-punk, hammer beats, psychedelic, library, and breakbeats reminiscent of early Mo Wax, etc. The result is an unknown trance groove that is neither the techno approach of a live band nor the rock of an electronic producer.
