He is also a painter and writer.\n\nSonata No. 6 is a pictorial and descriptive sonata in which each movement has its own title and origin, making it easy to understand the composer's intentions. Sonata No. 15 also has its own unique origin and conception for each movement, and is more Romantic than contemporary. The Russian waltz, the rhapsodic nocturne, and the rhapsody based on Godshalk's \"Memories of Puerto Rico.\n\nKevin Gorman, piano, studied at the Crane School of Music and the University of Montreal. He won first prize at the Zaguenay Kingdom Music Festival.
