Co-founder and artistic director Toby Ward studied at King's College Cambridge and the Royal College of Music, and has been an organist at the Church of the National Musicians and St. Sepulker's Church, an associate of the Royal College of Organists, and a Tenebrae Choir He has also served as tenor associate artist.The year 2021 marks the 500th anniversary of the death of Josquin des Prez, but it is also the 500th anniversary of the death of Robert Fairfax (1464-1521), the most famous and influential English Renaissance composer of the reign of King Henry VII and Henry VIII of England.
