The band entered the studio in the middle of the tour and recorded many tracks. Some of these tracks were released last year as \"Motion I,\" which received rave reviews in Downbeat magazine, MOJO, and other major newspapers. This time, different tracks recorded at that time are included. All of the tracks were newly written by the band members for this album.\n\nSpeaking about this project, Joel Ross said, \"I think it is important for this band to carry on the legacy of Blue Note by not hesitating to be honest with ourselves. This concept of always moving forward is also expressed in the band's name, to which Kendrick Scott commented, \"The band name Out of\/into is a reflection of Blue Note's history and the evolution of our sound.Speaking of the many tours they have done before recording, Immanuel Wilkins said, \"We've been touring together for a long time, so it's nice to be able to leave it this way.
