She has also won prizes in the Hamamatsu and Sydney Competitions. In 2009, she gave recitals in France and Germany. Kitamura's performances are not \"self-expression through a work,\" but rather \"actualization of the composer's spirit through the score. His performances are full of fresh music that could only be possible at his current age, and they captivate the listener. This CD, his debut, includes five works related to \"Schumann \/ Fantasy\" selected by Kitamura himself.
