Interspersed among them are the complete works of Schumann's \"Forest Scene,\" with which Mehtarian feels a deep emotional kinship with Kurtag, and in the latter half of the work, an introspective snippet from Janacek's \"On a Shady Path in the Grass,\" which weaves an even more complex web of twists. It is also important to note the inclusion of several Kurtag works that are currently unpublished.
