Last year, he contributed to albums by Perfume Genius and The Sleaford Mods, and earlier this year, he was handpicked to serve as the support act for Nick Cave \u0026amp; The Bad Seeds’ tour.\n\nThe highly anticipated new album, *Train On The Island*, was co-produced with longtime collaborator and master producer John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dry Cleaning) and recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales. This studio is also where Aldous recorded his previous releases, *Party* (2017), *Designer* (2019), and *Warm Chris* (2022). The 10-track album features, in addition to Aldous and Parish, pedal steel guitarist Joe Harvey-Whyte, harpist Mali Llewelyn, synthesist Thomas Poli, drummer Sebastian Rochford, and multi-instrumentalist Huw Evans (H. Hawkline), who handles bass, vocals, acoustic\/electric guitar, and organ.
