Pylon, the legendary band that introduced the spirit of art punk and the underlying strength of college chart regulars to the world along with Talking Heads, B-52's, and R.E.M., and helped Sonic Youth, Deerhunter, and other up-and-coming indie acts, reissued their first and second albums in NEW WEST! The band's debut album "GYRATE" in 1980 was a hit, and the band toured the U.S. with great momentum.After the tour, the band went into the studio to work on their next album, "CHOMP," which was released in 1983 after repeated builds and scraps. The album, "CHOMP," was released in 1983. It clearly reflected the experience of the tour, with more physical songs than the previous album. The songs that are more live-oriented without losing their trademark intellectualism are shown with gusto in "K" and "BEEP. There was also "CRAZY," which had a hint of guitar pop, and the musicality of the band was very well rounded! However, sales were not so good, and the band went on to become a cult band. ....
