Glenn Hughes, who has been one of the best vocalists in the hard rock world with his soulful voice since joining the third Deep Purple band, was a member of the legendary Trapezees with Mel Galley (g) and Dave Holland (ds) before he joined Purple. The Trapezees, a legendary British hard rock band. This 6-CD box set includes their first three studio albums from 1970 to 1972, the previously unreleased "Live in Texas: Dead Armadillos" from 1973, and the reunion show in 1992 with Jeff Downs (key) from Asia. The box set is available for purchase. The box set also includes "Medusa" (1970), in which Hughes, Garey, and Holland formed a three-piece band, "You Are the Music... We're Just the Band (Interlocking)" (1972), both of which were not commercial successes, but are also renowned as hidden masterpieces from the early 1970s, during the dawn and rise of British hard rock. After "You Are the Music... After "We're Just the Band," Hughes left to join Deep Purple to replace Roger Glover. Holland and Galley joined Judas Priest in 1979 and Whitesnake in 1981, respectively.
