Waltz", the 18th new single and 12th drama theme song, is the theme song for the ABC and TV Asahi drama series "Miss Target". The lead role is played by Marika Matsumoto in her first starring role in a terrestrial national network drama series. The film "Haken Anime!" is an entertaining love story about Sumire Asakura, a marriage scam artist played by Matsumoto, who embarks on a serious marriage activity. (Haken Anime!), which won the Best Screenplay Award at the 46th Japan Academy Prize. The title of Ieiri's new song, "Waltz," was written for the drama. Ieiri herself wrote the lyrics and composed this straightforward love song. The song is a medium ballad with vocals and arrangement that expresses the sadness of a lost love, but also contains some core strength and light.
