Kamasi wrote and produced all of the songs, and is joined by familiar faces from Next Step, including Ryan Porter, Miles Mosley, Cameron Graves, and Tony Austin, and his father Ricky Washington, as well as trumpeters D'Angelo, Jill Scott, and Lauryn Hill.
