As a result, Claud began songwriting with a new acoustic guitar and a used upright piano that he had recently installed in his apartment; Claud's apartment, with its unwieldy acoustic guitar and worn-out piano, became the setting for many of the experiences that underlie \"Supermodels\" experiences came to expression.The thirteen songs on the album are genre-defying, as Claud says, with hooks that, like the best pop music, remain as powerful as the memories: the cracks in love and friendship, the pressures from a recording career, the scars of growing up, the funny stories of life, and more.
