The dazzling sparkle of tone in the G major concerto and the passionate concentration of the \"left hand\" is breathtaking. The \"left hand\" often features elements reminiscent of military trumpets and marching rhythms. It was the war that led Wittgenstein himself to become a left-hand-only performer.
