In 1992, following the transfer of their catalog to Warner\/WEA, *BEST...I* was released in August and *BEST...II* in November. *BEST...II* peaked at No. 29 on the UK Albums Chart, and the re-released single “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out” (originally released in 1986), included on the album, reached No. 25 on the UK Singles Chart. The cover features “Biker Couple,” a photograph taken in 1961 by the renowned actor Dennis Hopper, and *I* and *II* are positioned as a single work comprising both albums, including their content and artwork. This was the first vinyl release since the original in 1992.
