After studying the gamba under the tutelage of Pierrot, Cowan, and Savard, he switched to conducting, and under the tutelage of Pierre Cao and Philippe Herreweghe, his performances with La Chapelle Armonique, which he formed in 2017 while still a student at the Paris Conservatory, were met with rave reviews. He made his CD debut on the Chateau de Versailles label with the premiere version of Bach's Magnificat. After wowing the world with his interpretations of competing Bach works, including his subsequent work on the \"John Passion,\" he now turns to his countryman Rameau.
