Monoland).

The band debuted with their first album "Manouva" on Germany's Noiseworks label, and has released three albums up to their third album "Ben Chantice" in 2006.

After playing several gigs with bands such as TAM, Die Art, and Jeans Team, Monoland began recording "Coooning" in 2000. The album was produced with sound engineer Sebastian Fell at the Einst_rzende Neubauten multiple noise studio using old tapes, MIG-Motors, and a huge bass drum.

Influenced by My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless," Slowdive, Bowery Electric, trip hop, and electronica, the album opens with the beautiful A1 "de pale," a flood of noise guitar. A3 "motel fumatore," renowned as one of the supreme songs in the history of shoegaze in the 2000s, is uplifted by the ecstasy of noise guitar and sampling loops that develop dynamically from the intro, and by the three-dimensional rhythm work of the sad melody. A5 "orcin" blends trip-hop and shoegaze sounds. B4 "honolulu," which closes the album with a guitar sound that is a tingling sampling collage, and the entire album is filled with an experimental atmosphere that is typical of the Berlin, Germany native, who is at the center of electronica, dub techno, and other genres.

This analog reissue also includes a bonus track, "manouva," a representative song from their early days, which is being reissued on analog for the first time.

At the time of its release, "Cooning" was described as sounding similar to My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless".Curiously, the cover artwork of the album was similar to the artwork of My Bloody Valentine's "m b v," which was later released in 2013, and also became a topic of conversation among shoegaze fans.

Tracklisting:

1. de pale
2. cooning
3. motel fumatore
4. mc cann
5. orcin
1. moon
2. vodoo
3. embrace
4. honolulu
5. manouva(Bonus Track)
