Description:

A mysterious and bizarre anime in which fusion life forms of humans and Buddhist statues dance wildly! This work is produced using gekimation, a technique that is the origin of animation, but what is surprising is its overwhelming drawing ability and its worldview, creating a worldview that is the complete opposite of the moe era, and definitely inviting all viewers into the world of the film. Some have criticized the simple production process of gekimation (moving paper cutouts on a background and further processing them with special effects, etc.; "Yokai den Nekome ko" is famous for this), but this film makes it easy to understand why this technique is used. In other words, this method was chosen because of its drawing ability that cannot be expressed in current animation. In fact, the production of this film took about one and a half years, more time than it takes to make a normal movie. This unprecedented work was created by Ujicha, a new creator living in Kyoto who handled most of the work, including drawing, shooting, and directing, all by himself, making a truly shocking debut. Ujicha was discovered by Leo Anzai, a toy producer who is no stranger to the figurine world and the man behind the shokugan boom, at the university where he teaches (Kyoto Saga University of Arts), where he discovered Ujicha's talent while he was still a student at the time. This debut film is also highlighted by popular and talented voice actress Yuka Iguchi (Index in "To Aru Majutsu no Index: Endamion no kiseki"), whose overwhelming acting ability further raises the grade of the film. The most notable addition to the cast is the appearance of major actor Minori Terada, who is legendary in the world of voice acting for his role as Musca in "Castle in the Sky". This film is also a tribute to director Akio Jissoji, and Terada, who was active as an actor in the Jissoji troupe, is an essential part of the film. Legendary film actress Chisako Hara, wife of Akio Sanejoji, also appears in the film, as well as a special appearance by Mitsuko Hoshi, the heroine of Ultraman A. The theme song is sung by Saki Inagaki Sakura, who has made a breakthrough with her cosplay impersonations of Asuka from "Evangelion" and TV's "Rokemitsu," and the script is co-written by Ken Nakazawa, who is the subject of the novel "Hatsukoi Geinin," and the film is also directed by Hirokoru Watanabe of Cinderella Express, who is a must for comedy buffs, and Jun The group also includes the comedy buffs, Hirokoru Watanabe of Cinderella Express, Kazuyoshi Sakai, the leader of "Jun Retsu," and idol wrestler Moeka Kasuga, all of whom participate as voice actors and musicians.
