This album was created based on an idea that sprouted while she was touring North America in 2018. At that time, while fulfilling her musical dreams, she was faced with the reality that her father was dying of cancer. The sense of loss that washes over her between airports, hotels, and struggles with the American healthcare system - the absurd experience is etched throughout the album.\n\n\n\nDAUGHTERS\" interweaves fragments of diary entries, travel accounts, mechanical and religious imagery, and even fiction to form a soundscape of reality and illusion. The final part of the album, \"SAINTS,\" \"MISS AMERICA,\" and the title track, \"DAUGHTERS,\" are particularly impressive, as is \"SAINTS,\" which samples the electronic sounds emitted by unmanned hospital equipment and describes the days of taking his father to clinical trials, a work that is extremely personal, yet resonates with universal emotions.
