Fourteen previously unpublished works by Theodorakis are arranged and performed as piano solos by Henning Schmiedt, a pianist from the former East Germany who plays many genres of music (some of which also feature other instruments). The beautiful melody, long forgotten, is brought back to life. Schmiedt had played this arrangement with Theodorakis himself in 2009, and the final form of the arrangement was created based on his advice.
