She is a talented French soprano who has sung in a wide range of operas from Baroque to contemporary, from \"The Crowning of Poppea\" to \"West Side Story. She studied voice at the Guildhall in London and in Cologne. Halbeck won the first prize in the organ section of the International J.S. Bach Competition in Leipzig in 2004, and founded his own ensemble, Il Gusto Barocco, in 2008.
