It is surprising that the composer Bridges, despite being a talented viola player himself, composed few works for this instrument. Most of the pieces here, except for the Bliss, are arrangements for the viola of works written for other instruments, but when you listen to them this way, you can hear that they are really tasteful music. The shiny, wet tone is a perfect fit. Mr. Imai, who plays the piano here, is a talented Japanese pianist. His expressive and persuasive music enhances the viola melody and is surprisingly slow and haunting. ［Comment courtesy of Naxos Japan\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Naxos","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46064490381601,"sku":"4945604724074","price":19.0,"currency_code":"CHF","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4945604724074.jpg?v=1691121367","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-ch\/products\/4945604724074","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
