The young Gould was devoted to the New Viennese School, and his String Quartet, written in 1955, is a large work reminiscent of Schoenberg's, and is regarded as a work that expresses his inner self at the time. Gould rarely wrote music after that, but he found great pleasure in playing the piano, and he went his own way. Kaminski, on the other hand, was born into a Polish-Jewish family and studied political science at first, but eventually turned to music. He worked as a choral conductor and composition teacher, but lost his job because of his \"political beliefs,\" and was banned from performing his works because of his Jewish heritage, so he was rarely seen in public. He felt that \"composing is always an act of spiritual creation,\" and he constantly explored the mysteries of the universe, which is reflected in his own works. The Minguet Quartet will perform works by these two musicians.
