They are recognized as one of Japan's leading progressive rock units both in Japan and abroad. Acoustic Asturias\" was formed in 2003 by a group of performers from the classical field. With an irregular chamber music formation of piano, violin, clarinet, and gut guitar, the group has released three albums, toured abroad three times, and made a major debut with Avex. In 2022, the first phase of Acoustic Asturias will come to an end and the members will be renewed.The band has restarted with a new formation of piano, violin, cello, and gut guitar, and has been highly acclaimed for its compositions and performances, which have gained greater depth with the addition of the cello. And now, they have decided to release their long-awaited 4th album in October 2024. The title of the album is \"Somewhere not Here,\" and it contains nine songs that express \"somewhere not here\" with a unique acoustic Asturias worldview that contrasts stillness and movement, sometimes quietly sorrowful, sometimes intensely thrilling. The main theme from the popular game \"Midnight Circle\" is also included in a new arrangement.
