This box contains a selection of Copeman's many recordings for Erato, including Baroque works from Frescobaldi to C.P.E. Bach. This is a keyboard performance by Copeman, who is well known as a master of improvisation. This orchestral work is coordinated with a full sound that envelops the soloist who plays exhilaratingly. The delicate tones produced by his strong concentration and clear sound, and the expressive choral religious works with superb control, all demonstrate Copeman's ability to build music that is supple, curvaceous, and rich in shadows.
